Do you know where your cylinders are?

Cylinders are a big expense - and an absolute necessity - for your business. Keeping track of them is vital. It can also be a pain. How many do you have on hand? How many are at Oxygen Service Company being refilled? If there are some you can't account for, are they sitting in a corner of our warehouse or are they more likely to be at one of your remote sites?

We do the work of tracking your cylinders for you. Our TIMS Advanced Cylinder Management system uses barcodes to record the comings and goings of each one. We attach two plastic laminated barcodes to each cylinder, just in case one is damaged.

Our driver uses a handheld scanner to read the barcodes. The system is simple enough to take very little time, rugged enough to operate in all weather conditions, and accurate enough to permit truck-based invoicing.

Each night the handheld's data is uploaded to our main computer system. From that point on, Oxygen Service customer service representatives can give you immediate answers to any questions you may have about cylinder balances or discrepancies.

Since 1997, tracking cylinders by barcode has helped us to ensure accurate billing and to maintain good relations with our customers.
