Throughout his career, Brian has held progressive roles including Sales Representative, Sales Manager, and most recently stepping into a leadership role focused on automation sales and efficiency. Known for his collaborative leadership style, Brian is passionate about building strong relationships with both customers and fellow employees; believing that trust and teamwork are the foundation of long-term success. In his new role, Brian will focus on aligning sales strategy with automation initiatives, improving internal processes, and supporting sales teams with tools that enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
Kamal Musa Promoted to Eastern Wisconsin Sales Manager & Branch Operations
Kamal has been promoted to Eastern Wisconsin Sales Manager & Branch Operations, where he will continue overseeing daily branch operations while expanding his leadership into regional sales management. With over 20 years of experience in the industrial gas and welding supply industry, Kamal brings a well-rounded background spanning sales, logistics, and operations from his time at Weld Specialty and Matheson. His practical, people-focused leadership style has helped optimize workflows, strengthen customer partnerships, and build dependable, high-performing teams. In his expanded role, Kamal looks forward to growing OSC’s regional presence, deepening customer relationships, and continuing to deliver the reliable service OSC is known for.
Leif Nelson Promoted to Sales Manager
Leif has been promoted to Sales Manager, bringing an impressive 37 years of industry experience to the role. His background includes six years in customer service, purchasing, and warehouse operations, followed by 21 years in sales across bulk gas, specialty gases, and industrial/welding markets. In addition, Leif spent 10 years as a cryogenic technician, giving him rare hands-on technical expertise. Leif is deeply passionate about mentorship and education. He is committed to transferring his knowledge to the sales team so they can approach gas sales with confidence, clarity, and credibility. Known for his problem-solving mindset, Leif takes pride in helping others learn something new and being a trusted resource to help close sales and grow territories.
